Have you seen A Quiet Place? If not go watch it now. Why? Because it’s a highly entertaining movie, and they have a sequel coming out. In short, it is a movie about The Abbott family trying to survive in a world where aliens who are blind and have extremely good hearing, are killing everyone that makes a sound. They live their lives in silence and use American Sign Language to communicate. The movie was directed by John Krasinski, and the screenplay was also written by John, Bryan Woods, and Scott Beck. To further his credits on the movie John also starred in the movie alongside his real-life wife Emily Blunt. I loved A Quiet Place so much and may have quietly air fist-pumped when I heard they were making a sequel.
A Quiet Place II
One of the reasons I said to watch the first movie is because A Quiet Place II picks up where the first one left off. If you don’t want to know what happens in A Quite Place stop reading now. Haha! Lee (John Krasinski) is dead, and Evelyn (Emily Blunt) has just given birth to their 4th child. (Pretty badass I must say.) The remaining members of the Abbott family, Evelyn, Regan (Millicent Simmonds), Marcus (Noah Jupe), and baby leave the sand path and it looks like other humans may be more dangerous than the aliens.
You can watch the trailer for The Quiet Place II below as well as a big game TV spot! It looks like we will get some flashbacks to when the alien invasion first started. So, even though John’s character may be dead we will still see John Krasinski. I cannot wait to see how the Abbott family’s story continues. (Good thing it comes out soon!)
In theaters March 20, 2020

Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
