Greenland Movie Trailer Reaction
Natural disaster movies are my jam!
The Day After Tomorrow, Twister, Dantes Peak, and the Norwegian films The Quake and The Wave are some of my current favorite natural disaster movies. I just watched the trailer for the new movie Greenland and I got goosebumps watching it. A good natural disaster movie will usually get me on the edge of my seat and cause me slight anxiety. I love them. Haha! They are thought inducing movies because they always make me wonder if I were put in the same kinds of situations if I would be one of the lucky survivors. (It’s up in the air if I would. Haha!)
Throw in Gerard Butler and I cannot wait to see Greenland. Now, the question is when is it coming out. The email I received stated the movie was set to be released in theaters in August 2020, but so many movies have been pushed back this year I am not holding my breath. Greenland Movie Synopsis
A family fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth. John Garrity (Gerard Butler), his estranged wife Allison (Morena Baccarin), and young son Nathan make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary. Amid terrifying news accounts of cities around the world being leveled by the comet’s fragments, the Garrity’s experience the best and worst in humanity. As the countdown to global apocalypse approaches zero, their incredible trek culminates in a desperate and last-minute flight to a possible safe haven.
