My quarantine show

In the future if I am ever asked what show got me through the pandemic and quarantine of 2020 I will respond, The Great British Baking Show. Over the last year, I have binge-watched every season available on Netflix. (Even Masterclass.) I have learned about British humor, thanks to Sue and Mel, and that a soggy bottom is a NO, NO. If you are as big a fan of The Great British Baking Show like I am then do not be dismayed that season 11 is over, because now we get to watch The Great British Baking Show: Holidays Season 3!

The Great British Baking Show: Holidays Season 3

I truly love the Holiday editions of The Great British Baking Show. The Holiday seasons always bring back some of my favorite bakers from previous years, and it is always Jolly in the tent. Since the bakers have been there and done that, the stress level in the tent is much lower, the jumpers are more sparkly, and the bakers get to relax a bit and have even more fun with their bakes. Even Paul and Prue are more relaxed. You can tell because Paul smiles more. Haha!

This year Holidays Season 3 takes us back to the good old days of 2019 and reunites Noel and Sandi as hosts. (I miss Sandi.) The name of the game is to wow the judges, Paul and Prue, with amazing techniques, flavors, and bakes. One of my past season favorites won this Holiday special, and it was so much fun to see these bakers back in the tent. Then we get a special episode featuring the cast of the Derry Girls. (Which by the way I need to check out now because they are hilarious.)

It seems so 2020 that we get a Holiday season that is a year behind, but hey! I will take what I can get. While it seems like just a tease at 2 episodes for the Holiday season 3 they are episodes I could watch over and over. If you love baking shows and of course if you love The Great British Baking Show then the Holidays Season 3 is a must-watch. So on your marks, get set, BAKE!
